Steve Deckel - “Welcome”

I knew that I wanted to record Welcome from the very first time that I heard Steve Deckel play it at the open mic at the Three Legged Goat in Pflugerville, TX. It took quite some time but eventually my schedule freed up at the same time as Steve’s and we were able to make it happen.

For anybody reading this who frequents The Goat, you may notice a lyric change. We recorded it both ways. I’m hoping Steve will do a follow up release with the version you’re all familiar with :)
