Electric Platypus Production Studio

The Electric Platypus studio is a one-room production studio inspired by Sylvia Massy’s Studio Divine. Multiple acousticians were consulted during design and construction to ensure the best possible results for both recording and mixing.

The studio can very comfortably accommodate a four piece band with drums and has accommodated an 8 piece band with a bit of finagling. For larger acts or for the rare project which requires additional isolation, we partner with some of the best commercial studios in Austin. We can track larger groups at their facilities and then return to Electric Platypus for overdubs and mixing.

I’ve been working on my studio project with Travis for the past year. He has been nothing but professional and so easy to work with. I love how he keeps up to my speed and always has the finished product sounding polished. I would recommend his studio and services to anyone looking for quality and affordability either for audio or video.
